And now I have it. But what can my phone do now that it couldn't do on gingerbread?

Well, it can effectively utilize both cores of your processor for starters. It can also print money... Oh wait, that's Jelly Bean.

It can also startle you with a wireless emergency alert! :p

Well, my phone can now run through it's battery at a much faster rate!

LOL... good one.

Also, there is still seems to be some question as to whether or not the second processor is being utilized from some things I have read on XDA, a user have noted that monitoring tools are showing the second CPU as 0% utilized all the time, this just came up this morning, so it might be just the software they are using. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1819937

But you can disable apps (including the VZW bloatware), use facelock, adjust ring volume without unlocking, change apps in the launch bar, and swipe away notifications, for starters.

.

Half of that problem is code written for Gingerbread or earlier(not using the ICS APIs) It's the same on a PC. Write non-optimized code and the PC will do what it wants/needs to do without any specializations.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Now you can use the search on core, De elopers just need to catch up....
