I replaced my volume ribbon on my galaxy s7 and the volume down is still stuck.

my phone is stuck in safe mode and I thought the volume button was just stuck so I removed it. The volume was still continuously going down so I figure the volume ribbon was damaged so I replaced it. The volume still continues to go down. I tried to exit safe mode by pressing the tab on the drop down notification panel that reads "tap to turn off safe mode" I press it and it restarts but my phone is still in safe mode. What do I do?

I think you need to fix the stucked volume button first to solve this problem
