I RETURNED my 6P ... will you too?

I may RMA because my screen has a pinkish hue on one corner but I will be keeping this phone. Personally I can live with a less than perfect screen (it is still a good screen for viewing anything but large amounts of white). But that's just me.

Well it looks white to me. I love this phone and I will keep it. Great battery life. My phone has been off the charger for 20 hours, and I still have 87% left.

Wait, how much are you using the thing to still have this battery life? I'd seriously think about selling my moto x pure and getting a 6p if this type of battery life is commonplace.

He isn't to get that battery life.

Mine is fine and I will be keeping. Just waiting impatiently for the fingerprint secure apps for banks, amazon, etc.

I noticed most Samsung have this same yellow / over saturated colors screen.

I withhold judgement till mine arrives Monday.

So far no problems with the white on my screen, or really any other color. My N5 screen was fine, the phone before, the Galaxy Nexus was fine, before that I didn't know about this forum or other tech sites, and so didn't know to look at screen differences and then care about it.

People who are complaining of a pink or yellow hue likely have no clue what a 6500 K white point (which is the standard) looks like. I am not saying there is not an issue with some phones being bad, but likely some people are not used to the, proper, and warmer than ugly, white point, and think it's a defect, when it is how things are supposed to be.

That's too bad. Did you ask for a replacement, or just a straight-up refund?
I asked for a refund so that when I get it; I can use the refund money to (possibly) buy another unit. However I'm not sold on buying another 6P yet.

having bluetooth issues with 2015 camaro. if unable to fix at dealer on tuesday, it is going back.
That is unfortunate to hear; especially in regards to pretty what is the official phone that represents the Android mothership ... the ::drumroll:: Nexus 6p!

I have this same issue. Whites are terribly yellow, so I ordered a replacement from Google. The replacement is as bad, if not worse than the original. My Note 5 has brilliant whites, these screens look like coffee has been spilled on them. Very disappointed, because I LOVE everything thing else about this phone.
That sums it up PERFECTLY ... screen looks like coffee has been spilled on it ... exactly! And just as with you; I too loved everything about the phone!

In general; to everyone reading this ... my point is that we shouldn't just be like "yeah I see it but oh well I can live with it" and similar rhetoric. These are devices that we pay $$ for and that we want to use as our daily devices (or at least have the intention to) ... so we should make the manufacturer (and Google) aware of the fact that this problem (for those experiencing it) is not acceptable! I mean seriously.

People are free to decide what they will and won't live with. One man's porridge is another man's poison. If people have imperfect devices they may feel that the imperfections are manageable. Others return devices with one dead pixel. I support both decisions.
Our two 6P's have beautiful white screens just like my note 5. We've encountered no problems whatsoever with our 6P's. As well with a co-worker. But I understand that defective or imperfect product gets past quality control. But you can't get mad at the decisions other people make.

That sucks OP. Can't say my screen has any colour hue to it. White looks white.

I think if people are getting yellow hues on their screen then they should immediately get it replaced.

Why haven't you purchased a replacement? You sound as if you really like the 6P. You returned your unit and filed a complaint to make Huawei aware of issues you had with your unit correct? So why not give the company another opportunity to rise to the occasion? The contract between seller and buyer is a mutually beneficial relationship. If your second drvucedevice has the same issues then perhaps write off Huawei for now and move on. But if you're gonna complain about their product and return it, at least give them the opportunity to rectify it. Obviously you're still interested or else you wouldn't still be posting about a device you already returned.

I love my 6P. I don't get some of these comments. It seems some are not happy with any phone they buy, it's like they are looking for a reason to return it. If you get a defective one I agree with the other comments, do an RMA and try a replacement.

My screen on the 6p is actually very pleasant. More on the pinkish side of things, not yellow or very warm. Kind of pinkish white, how my iPhone 5 was. I actually like it. My iPhone 6s plus is as white as a sheet of paper and yes looks like super white compared to my 6p, but I don't mind it at all. It's nice and easy on the eyes. Granted if it was yellowish white I would have noticed right away and sent it back. However looks great to me.

What people need to understand is that it's an amoled number one, and no 2 screens will ever look alike. If I take 2 iphones and compare them they would be 2 different colors, same with most phones. Technology hasn't caught up to mass production yet, does that mean whites should be yellow, absolutely not. The only company that really has the screen game on lockdown is Samsung. The note, the galaxy, all those Samsung phones has just amazing displays. Listen they are the ones who make the screens for mostly everyone, their phones should have amazing screens. But aside from them its a lottery these days with phones. Sometimes you get a good one, sometimes you dont.

Works fine with my 2010 Camaro SS Limited Transformers Edition (Manual, 426hp V8) ;)

Now you are pissing me off. Do you have my link radio or base radio? Taking it in on tuesday and hoping there is a bluetooth software update to fix it.

I don't yet own one to return. I have all of you to be real world test subjects for me, before I buy. Thank you to all of you who pre-ordered!

And to the OP, if you really enjoy the phone that much, it sounds like you might just want to get it replaced and see if that resolves it. I would be curious if you got another one. These things sometimes are more of a user preference then a true problem for the other 99.9%.

I had this problem with my Nexus 4 & 5, but I don't notice it all on my 6P.
