Start going through the menus, especially the CyanogenMod settings, you will find lot's of ways to tweak your and get it running the way you like it.
To get Swype back, uninstall it if you can (you might not be able to, that's ok), then google swype beta, and sign up and download the SypeBeta installer, run it an your Swype is back. Don't put it on the sdcard, keep it on the phone as it's a system type app.
Well thats the thing, its not there to begin with; after doing this whole system wipe/root/flash. But I will try what you suggested.
Most Widgets will not work if you move it to your SD card. It needs to run off your phone. Apps that do not have Widgets can be placed on your card tho. Hope this helps. It worked, but now I have another problem. I cant run things off the SD Card? I downloaded Weather Channel app for the widget, once I moved the app to the SD Card; the widget is gone, so is the option to get it...?
I just noticed some tweaks for this in Cyanogen, will that fix it?
Where can I get some themes?
Is it ok for my Baseband version to say Unknown?
Here's my fav, 2g-toggle, it switches to 2g when your screen is off, and back to 3g when your screen is on. Good for extending battery life.
[APP] Toggle 2G/3G (Home widget&Tasker/Locale plugin) [v0.0.15 / 04-06] - xda-developers
I was wondering what the point of a 2g/3g toggle when the the power control widget comes with a data off toggle?
