I see a bluish green coating inside my headphone jack.

My phone is just a month old and I'm witnessing a bluish green coating which powders slightly when you insert the headphones. I never noticed it since I got it. I tested my phone under tap water which isn't salty to me. What is this coating any idea gentlemen? Is it normal? I believe it was present some I bought the phone.

Sounds like you may have corrosion going on in there mate. But that's just my suspicion based on the colour you mention and the fact it's a little dusty.... Either way it doesn't sound good imo..
