Because man was it a lot smaller than I anticipated. However, it worked beautifully.
I still want one, I think.
I demoed at T-mobile, they were like vultures on me
I still want one, I think.

I went to best buy today to check out the tab today. Looked great, felt great in the hand too. My wife has an iPad so I was able to compare. It was all looking great until I turned it on. I'm hoping this was a bad demo unit, but it ran super slow compared to my incredible and iPad. The keyboard was really slow and would freeze up. I checked the running apps thinking something was slowing it down, but there wasn't. It wouldn't turn to portrait with the front camera on top, only with the camera on the bottom. It was just all bad, now I really want to go see it somewhere else to see how it should be running, I hope. I asked the employee why it ran so bad but he said he wasn't familiar with android at all, I'm guessing this best buy won't be selling any units with an experience like I had. I will post an update after I go see it by work tomorrow.
I'm typing this on my wife's iPad, yes it's big and heavy, but it's fast and works great. Im not a apple fanboy, just a fan of good technology no matter the brand.
Update: I went to Vzw today to give the tab another test. I'm convinced the one at best buy was a bad demo unit. What I saw today was what I had expected and wished for, fast and fun. Can only expect it to be much better with froyo or newer OS. Now I feel comfortable recommending it to friends and family that ask me the tech questions.
