To all those who think that LG marketing is adequate:

Wow that's crazy. Almost think the store employee put that up as some sort of sick joke.

Hahahaha Fry's Electronics? I could tell you're at Fry's from the signs. They don't care about their store. They just sell high volume, pay their employees minimum wage. The store has mostly open boxed items. Fry's displays are a joke, nearly no working display models and the displays are 3-4 years old. Usually older folks shop at Frys, to find little electronics here and there, or PC parts. Customer service is a joke, worse than Walmart, you've been warned.

Some Best Buys also don't care... Unless they have a visit from the CEO they clean up real nicely. Reason why several stores are closing down.

Now... the nicest displays are from the real carrier stores (not authorized dealers). Newest phones are always on display. You could tell where the money is going to and focused on. These people get paid more.

BTW Samsung actually hires merchandisers to go to stores and update/fix displays. They even have a dedicated Samsung sales person permanently there, I used to be one of them, usually updating displays monthly or when told to. Apple makes sure theirs look good, even at Walmart. LG has nothing, it's actually embarrassing to see non-working or out-dated displays. I guess they can't afford to send 1 person traveling around the area to update them. BTW if you're looking for a job, search retail merchandisers in your area, they need people to update displays as well as assist with sales. Google, Amazon, and Samsung have those kind of jobs (not employed directly however).

I got my son a V10 and its a great phone and has great feel to it
I guess you will get new posters with I get my new security patch update what I am still on Dec. 2016 WTF is up with that??

Putting updated marketing in the hands of front line employees is pretty basic.

I bet the store could probably ask for new stuff and LG will send it, but you would think that an LG marketer/distributer would come out to store and check for crap like this.

It depends on the store sales volume. Obviously in this case the store doesn't care enough to speak up and do anything. This isn't a Best Buy but they aren't much better at updating displays except for Samsung and some of the cheap unlocked phones in some stores.
I can't speak for all carriers but Verizon does a good in my area with updating displays for most of their phones.

When LG comes to the store they only seem to care about the LG Gram Laptops and their OLED TVs.

Different reps but signage and promotional projects are contracted out and when they come they do cover all things under the same brand
