I think i have a problem...

hey guys, so... I'm way new at this. I rooted using unrevoked3, installed their mod. usb drivers, then downloaded cm6 and transfered the zip file to my sd card. I opened up the clockwork rec. and installed the zip (the exact prosses now escapes me). the evo4g screen came on, then went to the cyanogen loading screen. it stayed in the the "rocket" trail going around for a while, but now it seems to be in a "loop" where the logo keeps popping up and the "rocket" makes one trip around, then it repeats. this has been going on for quite some time now. what should I do?

Sounds like your stuck in a boot loop... I would try flashing another ROM to see if you can get it to boot up. Make sure you wipe everything first of course. Then if you get it to boot up, try using ROM manager to flash CM.

thanks man, how do I get it out of the boot loop? pull the battery?

Pull the battery and then boot back into recovery by holding down the power and volume down buttons.

It sounds like you didn't wipe your phone prior to installing the new rom.
