Yesterday, my new G7 ThinQ arrived. I can't remember correctly, but I might have swapped the SIM and SD card out of my S7E without turning it off first..

Do you think I might have damaged the S7E and possibly even the G7 when putting an already damaged SIM and Sd card there?

When i used the S7E metal pin to pull out the SIM/Sd card tray out, I don't remember any sounds or screens appearing which can only make me hope that I had switched it off first..

How can i be sure that i haven't damaged anything? When i pulled out my S7E today for the first time after the swap, it was switched off, which probably means i had it switched off in the first place (even if it was on while i pulled out the SIM/MicroSD, it wouldn't switch off by itself, right?)

Thank you and appreciated.

I doubt anything is damaged or corrupted. Turn it on....if it works it's OK.

Yes, working just fine.

The Xperia Z2 (which was the one that MAY have been switched on while I swapped the SIM card) is also working perfect).

That's wonderful! I'm so glad both phones are working well for you! :)

I think it is not an issue to remove the sim card while phone is ON. Check your phone for any damage. I don't think any damage occured on your phone.
