So I rooted my phone and it was working well..I dont know if its because I threw it against the floorboard or because it was rooted, but my 4g/3g service would cut in and out. I figured I would "revert back" to pre-root and just have verizon update it with the software update utility. Well it downloaded it and went to install... now when it powers on I get an exclamation point and a android on my screen. If I power it off and on, it will boot back up but only for about 30 seconds and then it powers off (reboots), I'm assuming to install the update and the cycle continutes.

Did I hose my TB?

nevermind... factory reset and its usable again... I'll see if 4g/3g works with stock factory setup...or if I broke it.. LOL

Did you actually unroot it first, or did you just attempt to install the update?
Once you did the factory reset, did it then successfully complete the update, and was it still rooted?
Just asking because that's the same thing that happened to me, except I didn't try a factory reset - I just reloaded the clean image that I made immediately after rooting and I've stayed away from the software update option.
