The last good Android phone! Google is really going to ruin the whole Google experience ..... NFC & Battery relationship & Verizon Blocking it!!! Might as well glue the battery in .... right? Why ruin an Open phone by closing it?? No Flash, No SD, No FM Radio ...... I give up!

I am sure there is more Verizon & Google aren't telling us :p

Non removable batteries, No SD cards, No Flash, No FM Radio .... what else are they going to take?

I'll just wait until a lot of this crap blows over & 4 cores are released!

Sorry for the Rant .....

Cheers :(

The battery IS removable. Most phones do NOT have an FM radio. Download TuneIn Radio from the android market if you want to listen to FM or AM radio around the US.

NFC isn't blocked. NFC is working as intended. Google Wallet is blocked. Just root the phone and you can install Google Wallet anyway.

Flash is being added at a later date. Flash wasn't working on ICS. So they removed it temporarily. When it is in working order, it will be available for download from the market.

Well to his credit the thunderbolt is a newer phone.. its not typical to upgrade so soon unless maybe if you really need a HD screen and wanna buy the phone off contract

I thought trolling generally happened within existing threads......don't know that I've seen new thread whose sole purpose was to troll.....but I'd still classify myself as relatively "new" around these parts..... LOL

Wow did this thread turned bad .... kinda makes you think & maybe wait a little before you buy ..... All this is turning us into iSheep ;) ..... & I thought everybody was sleeping :p I really was thinking of buying the Galaxy Nexus .... now I'm not. I'll wait :)

Cheers :)

please don't go, you're entertaining.

"The last good Android phone" should probably last more than 6 hours on a charge.

Can't wait until you guys get your phones & start beating each other up because somebody says some thing that might not sit right with you. Some of you need to grow up & relax a little.

Cheers anyway :)

To the OP, I think what people are trying to say is that it might help for you to be accurate when describing the Galaxy Nexus' features, especially on a Galaxy Nexus forum. You should also, in my opinion, use whatever device you choose.

I had really high hopes for the GNex. The Razr & Rezound weren't what we wanted in the end & now the GNex has some issues that are only showing up now & Verizon is all hushed about the whole thing. I have learned to manage my battery use & carry an extra battery. The Razr would have been great, but they glued it shut. The Rezound has chipped batteries so you can't charge it with generic batteries in it. Now the GNex has issues with swapping the batteries ...... & then all the specs shown until 2 days ago showed an FM Radio in the GNex & now they don't, just like the Rezound, so I get the Rezound thinking it had the FM Radio in it.

So I had to Rant a little, just tired of Verizon & their Vendors leaking false info & then finding out the truth later! Be nice if Verizon would just anounce it & show the real specs!

Cheers :)

I think you should wait until the Nexus is actually released before you come to any conclusions. As was stated in the AC post, the NFC issue might be something as simple as taking a little longer to initialize after a battery swap. Right now you're just stirring people up when it might be all for nothing and using a bunch of emoticons in your original post may confuse some people as to whether or not you are being serious.
