I think I'm gonna call BS on this one. Sorry...its not possible. I've seen improved battery life since the upgrade too, but your supposed results are totally unbelievable.

The phone seen considerably less use today because I left work early and thus had access to my computer.

I think the extra battery usage can my attributed to me showing 4G to a co-worker who asked and forgetting to turn it off for a bit afterwards.

Still using a live wallpaper, auto-brightness, I use ATK every hour or so.

Handful of calls, texts, an internet use up until about 3PM and its been idle for the most part ever since.

Yeah I don't know... I have damn sure seen much better battery life/management since the update.. Before I averaged 12 - 16 hours on a single charge but that was from 100% to 15% and the warning plug your phone up message... Right now I am at 14 hours 18 minutes since unplugged and 46% battery remaining... My cell stand by is 28%, Phone idle 25%, Maps 20%, Android System 13%, Voice Calls 7% Display 4% and Camera 3%....

I could EASILY got 24+ hours on a single charge now with what is moderate to heavy use.. I use to have my GPS and back light turned to low.. Since the update the GPS has been on 24.7 and I still have the back light set to a lower setting (not full brightness but one step below that) I have weather set to update every 2 hours, mail every hour during the day and ever 5 hours at night while sleeping.... I even stopped using ATK a week after the update because of the improved battery life.... Be interesting to see what Froyo does for the phone.... AT CHRISTMAS!!!! LOL (I hope not that long)

That's fabulous! I'd be interested to see what your power settings are across the board. WiFi, 4G, GPS, ringer/vibe, task killer settings, brightness, talk time, texting, wallpaper, memory resident apps, etc.

I have noticed better battery times with 4G active, but nothing approaching those hours. Maybe 8-ish before it gets low, and I am not a full-on active user on the phone, especially at work.

That's great battery life.
I can't imagine putting a battery saving ROM like the BakedSnack Rom. I'm going to sooner or later and I'll report my battery savings. People have gone a couple days with that ROM.


For me, I use my phone heavily... I get 10+ hours even with lots of gameboid games.
I actually went 6 hours straight with gameboid (lots of pokemon =/) and the battery went down to 5%.
That's with brightness at 50%-60% and a couple texts inbetween.

I'm not surprised at all. I routinely get 12-14 hours with heavy usage, and near 30 hours on light use. Even when I play a lot of Robo Defense I still get well over 10 hours. No ATK, GPS always on, screen brightness on auto.
