The source of that information shouldn't be taken seriously. I rather wait and see what samsung does to see if that was true. They already experimented with a metal S4 and that didn't work out. Why would the note be any different?

Because they have more time? The only reason they didn't go with metal for the S4 was time. They didn't have enough of it.

I guess we will see later this year what the Note 3 ends up looking like. Regardless I am happy with samsungs phones. My GS2 looks brand new not a scratch on it. We will see JHBThree the Note 3 is going to be an awesome phone when it comes out!

The note would be the perfect device to test out a metal body. It's already got a huge battery so a removable one isn't quite as important, and the way they build the note 2 would lend itself well to metal.
