I thought they said the note edge was durable

So I've had the note edge for a few days now. I read that Samsung said the edge screen was durable. Well I cracked the screen today. Right up along the edge. It's not super noticeable but it's enough to make me mad.

I had the note 3 since it came out and I never cracked it. Granted I work in the oil field and I'm rough on everything, but the note 3 never even got a scratch.

I wish the screen replacements wernt so expensive on this thing. I'm hoping the price goes down in a few months and I'll replace it then.

P.s. after the screen cracked, i tried to take a screenshot of it...don't tell me none of you have never done the before!

I have personally NEVER had a cracked screen from a phone that had a decent case on it

How did u crack it? Did u drop it? Did u have a case and if so, what kind?

It was just in my pocket. Pulled it out and it was cracked. I did have a case on it but it's not a good one. It's just a case with an extra battery built in, so it doesn't offer much protection.

That's crazy If it was just in ur pocket. U must have banged it? Or cracked it prior and didn't notice it until u pulled it out.

I know it wasn't cracked when I put it in my pocket. I had to have banged it somehow, I just don't remember doing it.

I can sign up for 2 years for 99 bucks...plus a 75 dollar deductible still puts me under what it would cost for a new screen. I might do that but the Crack isn't too bad yet

I carry my phone in my back pocket have never had a problem I use the Verus case off eBay love it the glass on the note edge is Gorilla Glass 4 super tough
