I upgraded to Andriod 6 and I am not seeing any of the new features at all

I am using an unlocked (originally Sprint) LG G4. I upgraded, it went through optmizing the apps, and then... nothing new at all. It says 6.0 under software version as well. What is the issue? It has been about 3 hours since I performed the update.

What new features are you looking for?

Most of the UI changes are subtle improvements is usability and may not apply at all on OEM devices - check out the Quick Tiles for the most obvious (Do Not Disturb) and set up System UI Tuner. Try copying and pasting some text.
Delve into the the new Memory Monitor and App Permissions menus in the Settings App. There's lots a minor changes in Settings to improve usability and tweak existing features.
Give Google Now on Tap a try to see if it works for you (it doesn't for me).
Have the patience to leave your phone perfectly still for at least a couple of hours and marvel at the magic that is Doze (that's sarcastic - Doze is a white elephant for any phone in normal use). App Standby is pretty good as a battery saver though.
Adoptable storage is a biggy if you use an SD card.
Enjoy the magic of uninstalling an app and reinstalling it a month later with all your specific settings intact.
