I used 1150GB per month on average. (on unlimited data plan)

Am I a total id**t for thinking about swtiching to T-Mobile?

I never even considered this until this month. T-Mobile had been
stuck on 2G EDGE service in my city like forever. Until they
finally went straight to 4G during the first month of July. I tried
my friend's T-Mobile phone and it got more than 20mbps inside
my home.(almost 15mpbs inside my office building)

Please be as brutal as possible in your replies. I want to hear
the truth. :)

1. How good is the Tmobile signal where YOU need a signal?
If not good, you don't want them.

2. How much is it going to cost you for a minimum 1200GBper month on TMobile, and how much is your unlimited plan? If TMobile has an unlimited plan, where's the division between full speed and slow (and that's going to be like dial-up) speed. If they give you 3GB/month at full speed, you won't be able to download 1150GB in a month if you download 24/7. And forget about even music streaming at 48kbps - it'll constantly buffer. Video will be like a dream. It'll be like you're back in 1995.

As I understand it, T-Mobile's official, stated position is that they do not throttle unlimited 4G LTE customers. Unlimited 4G LTE is $80/mo. However, that applies to the mobile device that the SIM is in. If you connect other devices by tethering or mobile hotspot there are limits on what is allowed before throttling happens. I don't remember the limits, check with T-Mobile.

1200GB/mo is a LOT of data on a phone. You're tethering, right?

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.
