Question I used to use inverted colours to save battery when reading on my phone. Now, colour inversion turns off after 1 second

I am fond on using my phone with inverted colours both to save battery and wire strain (white writing on black background, much less light) and not disturb sleeping wife.

I happily used this for some time, but a few months ago, it started turning back off in around 1 second.

It turns off, whether I've turned it on in settings, quick panel or a shortcut I've set up.


Anyone got a solution? I love using it on that mode

If you can, try a Cache Partition wipe.

If no go, try Safe Mode.

Which device are you using?
Lot of the Newer ones have in settings blue filter to help with eye strain

If it's Samsung there still is colour inversion in quick panel. Blue light is eye comfort in display.
