I bought it yesterday (hadn't intended to, but they were still doing their 50% OFF LTE device batteries sale), but honestly I haven't even put it on the phone yet.

Honestly, its not bad, the back cover is nice, although i wish it had the beats audio sticker it does say htc and has the same texture as the stock cover. Performance is somewhat of a let down compared to stock. The price was nice, the bulk isnt too bad, but I still had only half a charge with moderate use half way through my day today. The stock battery did the same for me, so unless my battery isnt calibrated right or something is terrible on my phone (more then possible), we wont know until we can start freezing some of these apps (i havent temp rooted) to stop back up assistant (jerk off at the store set it up, ing duesche), etc..

I think for a 25 dollar battery and door its not a bad deal if you dont mind the phone not being thinner.

I purchased the extended battery strictly because of the 50% discount, put it in and it is a nice addition.
What you have to remember at 50% left it still has the capacity of a full oem battery. That gives you twice the power of the original battery.

So, i went to the store and messed around with a salesman who was obviously desperate to sell me something. Tried the back cover of the extended on my rezound and i gotta say, pictures + our brains inability to distinguish size in pictures don't do this thing justice. Yes, it screws with the overall design and shape of the phone. Yes, it does quality as "thicker". But if you're serious about your phone purchase, you can't look at these aspects at face value. Think about what you need and actually try out the back cover THEN decide. Hell, try it on then leave the store and sleep on it. You might change your mind.

Really, trying it in person and seeing how NOT big it was (compared to my expectations from seeing pictures) was kind of a shocker. Wasn't too bad at all. The "extended" part of it all fit in my palm when i held the phone, so the fact that it was bigger was barely noticable. I'm sure if i gave it a chance, i'd get used to the overall feeling after a couple days.

Ultimately, i have a case coming in the mail on monday so i opted for the standard battery. But i will say, that extended battery ain't too bad. If i was the type that cared about "the trouble of carrying a spare in my pocket", i'd definitely pick it up.

I had the same reaction with my Thunderbolt. Pics made the device look huge and heavy but the reality was it wasn't that bad. The Extended battery door for this phone is a lot nicer and does not mess with the lines of the phone nearly as much.

The extended battery looks sweet. I would definitely pick it up if I had this phone. The extra juice would be worth it.

The extended battery cover fits my hand nicely. After the first charge I got 18 hours with moderate use (screen on for 6 hours on auto brightness, on LTE for 6 hours and wifi for the rest). I am still on the 2nd charge and am at 33% after 24 hours.

Would it be nice if, say, some months or a year from now, a battery revolution finally happens and we get the option of a regular size battery that holds 10 times the charge of the current extended one? And it would recharge telepathically in less than 30 sec. One can dream. :)

I had the extended battery on my tbolt ans it wasn't that bad so I got it on my rezound. Although I liked the tbolt one better, I don't mind this one at all. Smooth in my hand and definitely necessary if you want to worry about charging every chance you get

Dont forget... you can bludgeon small animals if you have to for food.

Seriously .... I have the extended battery on mine and I can certainly live with it. Its nice not having to turn this or that off and on to save battery.

I can pretty much leave everything on... and have plenty of battery to make it through the day. Its worth it to me.
