It lasts about as long as my Droid razr maxx, and certainly excellent, but the gs3, while not as good, is still pretty good, imo.

To be fair, our Note 2 has wireless charging as well (As do all Notes). Just takes a little effort on our part thanks to good 'ole Big Red.

My biggest concern is warranty. If you ever send it in for service, they will see the cutout. Also, I would imagine that a number of phones can do wireless charging with physical modifications as well, perhaps more extensive than on the note 2 though.
