I want the old blocking mode

Previously the blocking mode function used to make your number literally unavailable to callers, now it just silences the phone. Is there a way to have a blocking mode like it used to be? Without having to go on flight mode?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone do you have, and which carrier? Pixel phones (and others that use Google's own Phone app) can take advantage of Google's own spam filtering for calls. If you have a different phone that can't use this app, then check with your carrier to see if they have a call-blocking feature.
