I want to get back my Gboard emojis

Im using a Huawei Honor 8 lute and I recently installed Oreo Emui 5 theme and it changed my emojis. Ive uninstalled the theme but the emojis are still the name. How can I get my original gboard emojis back?

Ps. Ive tried to uninstall goard updates and installing them again but it didn't work.

It's not possible to get the old blob emojis back on Gboard. You can get them as stickers if you use Allo: Google is bringing back its blob emoji — in Allo

I dont want the old blob ones. I want the current gboard emojis back which got changed by installing that theme.

Right, those are the standard Oreo emojis now. The previous ones were the blobs (at least, on Nexus phones). Which emojis do you mean?

Yeah, but my android version is nougat but i didnt get these back after uninstalling oreo theme

Oh I see. I'm not sure what to try next -- how about clearing the app cache/data for Gboard?

Nah, i got this phone like a week ago so rooting is not an option and it's not that big of an issue for me to root the phone. I just liked the old emojis more but it's still alright if i cant get them back.
One more question tho, will resetting the phone not fix the issue?

Yeah a hard reset should take care of it as the phone should return to the "out if box" state.

Before doing a hard reset, install the Font Reset theme from the Play Store, here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.olabs.theme.fontreset&hl=en, and apply the theme once installed. That should get your emojis back.

Excellent suggestion! Definitely worth a shot to prevent having to do a reset.
