I want to share a little backstory about why I built FilesCase.

Whenever I needed to check, share, or just read out a number from my personal documents (like Aadhaar, PAN, or Driving License), I always struggled to find them on my phone or in cloud storage. Searching through multiple apps like Files, Drive, or random folders was frustrating, especially when I needed the document urgently.

To solve this problem, I developed FilesCase—an app that organizes personal documents in one place, making them easy to access when needed with all the details. I realized that if I was facing this issue, many others might be as well. That’s why I built FilesCase, hoping it could be a useful tool for everyone dealing with the same frustration.

I’d love to hear your thoughts! Please let me know your valuable feedback on FilesCase Your suggestions will help me improve the app and make it even more helpful. 😊🙏

Hi and another Welcome to Android Central 🙂

I haven't yet viewed the app terms & conditions, but my first thought was, if it's, "an app that organizes personal documents in one place,". . what and where are the safeguards and security protocols implemented to assure that all 'personal documents' data can only be accessed by the person using the app? As well as assurances that there's no possibility of a users' 'personal documents' ever being viewed or accessed by anyone else, including the app developer, or ever uploaded to some cloud?
For why on Earth would anyone be so foolish . . as to store any of their 'personal documents' on some 'cloud storage'?? 🙄
And so my first concern would be... how rock solid are the safeguards—that I presume are in place—that guarantee that my eyes are the only eyes that can and will ever see my 'personal documents' storage?

Thank you for your thoughtful question! We want to assure you that FilesCase does not use any server or cloud storage—everything is stored locally on your device and is completely under your control.

Your personal documents never leave your phone, and we have designed the app to prioritize privacy and security. Since no data is uploaded to external servers, no one (including us, the developers) has access to your files.

We understand the importance of keeping sensitive documents private, and that's exactly why FilesCase is a local storage solution with no external access or syncing. Let us know if you have any other concerns—we're happy to clarify!

Its to simple, there is nothing special. You're not going to get anywhere with Filescase. Just use Google Wallet.
Google Wallet is designed primarily for storing payment cards, boarding passes, and transit cards, but it does not allow users to manually enter and organize personal document details like IDs, names, numbers, and addresses for easy access, copying, and sharing see attachment. See the attached screenshot for reference.

FilesCase, on the other hand, offers a simple, offline solution for managing important document details without relying on cloud storage. Everything stays securely on your device, giving you complete control over your data.

If you’re looking for a dedicated personal document manager, FilesCase is built exactly for that. Let us know if there are any features you'd like to see!
