But I did, and can truly say I am glad I did. Everything has been buttery smooth and I have missed the s pen.

If you are on the fence I would suggest taking the dive. I love it.

I came from a V20 as well. I really liked the V20 but the Note 8 is definitely a better experience.

Same here. My V20 was a good phone, but I didn't love it.

Same story for me as well! I traded my S7 for the V20 and while I enjoyed the super wide-angle camera, that's about all that was unique about it. Nothing felt unique or even well designed.

No payment app outside of Android Pay, lackluster dialer, and call screen, limited functionality of the second screen... I loved the s7 and I'm not even sure why I traded that in. The only thing I miss about the V20 is the speed of the fingerprint sensor, and the double-tap to wake. Other than that, I'm incredibly happy with my purchase. Glad to know I'm not the only one who switched from the V20 to the Note8.
