I was using my phone and it just went blank, won't turn on. What should I do?

I was using my phone and it just went blank, won't turn on.

I took the battery out and replaced it, nothing!

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? When you say you replaced the battery, do you mean you reinserted the same battery? If the battery suddenly failed, then try a new battery. If that doesn't help, then it's possible the screen failed, or worse yet, the motherboard failed. You may have to bring the phone to a repair shop to find out.

My phone has in-built battery and what I do is to press "+" and power button at the same time to reboot it.

Hold the power button down for 15 seconds or so, until it reboots. That simulates pulling the battery.
