Ice Cream or no Ice Cream on HTC EVO Design 4G???

Hey guys!

This is my first post (YAY!!!). Recently I read that there is a software update for Android OS 4.0 for my HTC EVO Design 4G. And I wanted to know if it was worth it, since I've been reading reviews of people saying that it sucks and that they do regret updating they're phones. I was just curious to know 'cause the idea of giving an update to my phone is amazing.

Another Question...
If I do update my phone to OS 4.0 will I lose all my data, like game levels data??? That kinda scares me since I play a lot of games on my phone and since my phone isn't root I just can't do a backup that includes game levels on a non-rooted device. If there is a backup that can save game levels on a OS 2.3 non-rooted phone I would love to hear about it.

When u update u don't lose any data but it is wise to do a factory reset whenever u update to avoid any quirks. And I'll say update as soon as possible. Gb is so outdated compared to ics and jb.
