I am going to start working on porting android 4.0 to the LG Optimus S and I am looking for some people to help me along the way. anybody? I have already begun looking and testing different builds I have put together, and am making some head way

What baseband? I can't do much more than test. but, I'd definitely be willing to do that!

I'm in. The only giant issue is the SDK build (and any ICS system dump that has been released) is compiled for ARMV7, and the CPU in the Optimus S is of the ARMV6 variety.

i find it funny that everyone wants to test. testing can only help so much, im interested in learning how to develop so i guess im in.

Maybe u guys should first start by porting aosp of gingerbread. Start at source learn how to compile and decompile.... I would like to see this as a development thread and im willing to help as much as i can.

Once u guys get aosp booting then we can think of ics aosp. Sound good? Now get to work! Lol.

I would love to help build, BUT I dont know the first thing about it. I can root, flash roms and do all that basic stuff. I have no idea where to start when it comes to building. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would def be in.
