icons are huge

How do I make the icons in the home screen smaller..its getting annoying that they're huge im not blind and [language removed by mod] to have huge icons

Press and hold the home screen until options appear, select grid and change to 5 by 5.

Use Nova Launcher or similar, I don't think the stock launcher allows you to change icon size.

I had nova launcher but then I noticed it makes the phone pad lag so when I'm typing a phone number it lags and acts as if I pressed it 2 times

I don't think you can change the size in the folders. You have to scroll down to get to the ones below. Unless there is a way and I haven't discovered it.

I wish I could make mine larger. 5X5 or 4X4, they are too small for my old shot eyes.
Changing from 5X5 to 4X4 they stay the same size.

Ok, that's not your home screen... that's an open folder *on* your home screen.

Settings, Default Applications, Under the Home tab make sure Touchwiz home is clicked and NOT touchwiz easy home.

Nova has zero lag for me. I used to use launchers and stopped years ago because of lag. I went to Nova Prime months ago and have had zero lag with it.

They're huge because of the way you are choosing to display them...

You're doing the stock Touchwiz a disservice with that screenshot. It can be set up like this as well.

I did that with other phones. This time I'm trying out folders again and yes the icons are huge in the folders. I use TW as well and the icons on the phone homes creens are smaller. Not sure why the ones in the folder are huge.

I think my problem is I payed the 4.99 for nova and igot used to the small icons.when I called bank and fried entering credit card # the keypad lagged and when I uninstalled it ..it stopped doing it

Try This:
Settings
Display
Easy Mode

Choose easy mode (no matter what it says) and click ok
Then repeat the steps and choose standard mode.
Mine got stuck on easy mode some how and it was still showing standard mode. I didn't think I would ever get it fixed!!!
