Are there any icon packs that show when when you have notifications for facebook for example. Like how touchwiz does?

Yes, you need the Premium Nova Launcher and the Tesla Unread Plug-in

You have to get TeslaUnread for Nova Launcher (free from Playstore). I don't personally use it for Facebook, but there is a Facebook checkoff area in Tesla Unread Plugin. If it does work, then you will get notifications on any iconset. (And as above said, you need Nova Prime for the notifications to work.)
