Sure it'll work on 905. It should undo the forever root mod for you. The only thing that seems to have caused people issues is if they have safestrap installed. That appears to do something to the data partition that we don't touch, that causes problems.
I have a quick question...are you guys able to change the wallpaper from your gallery or live wallpaper and it stays that way permanently? I cant understand why my droid bionic doesn't let me keep the wallpaper I want. It keeps reverting back to the stock wallpaper which I am sick of. Its my phone so why I cant understand why I don't have that option.
I was checking out some different threads on droid hive. Process seemed pretty clear. However I was curious and wanted to clearify something. I now have TB installed. Once I have flashed ICS and rerooted I will NOT beable to apply any back ups created prior to ICS?? Correct? I will be starting from scratch and all my backed up apps and data will not be avalible??
Tb is fine so long as you play by one rule. Restore apps and app data but never system data. And I would personally wipe cache and Dalvik after restoring the apps and reboot. An android upgrade script will then process your apps. Let that run and when fully booted after that reboot one more time.
Ok I'll give it a try. I am now running 232. I am having issues restoring any apps let alone system apps but I'll stay away from them. I used the method on Droid hive. Wiped data before install of 232.
I'm having other issues with the OS its self. The screen lock won't work at all. Also the home button doesn't work at all. No matter what I am doing the home button does nota.
Thanks for the help.

Those issues only happen when you restore system data. I'm not talking about system apps but the system data itself. You'll need to wipe the cache and if that doesn't work you'll need to factory reset it. That will fix the issues.
Use that. Only go to 232 NOT 235 and you will be safe. No data loss between the versions. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and READ EVERYTHING please. But you'll keep your apps, data, etc all the same through the upgrade to 232.
