ICS Keyboard's stopped making a sound on keypress

It's quite trivial but very annoying: my Galaxy Nexus's stock ICS keyboard has stopped making a sound on keypress. Any solutions out there? I'm running AOKP 4.0.3 and Franco's Kernel Milestone 2. This just happened all of a sudden, out of the blue.

Rom Manager - Reboot into CWM - Wipe Cache/Dalvik - Reboot

If still a problem, nandroid/backup, re-flash.
 
In Settings -> Language and Input, click on the settings icon near Android Keyboard, when you scroll down. Is sound on keypress checked?
 
I'm running my Nexus stock and I loose the vibration when typing now and then. Comes back with a reboot pretty much happens regularly.

Yep. I think something in AOKP suddenly died cause everything's fine on TeamBAMF's ROM. Odd to say the least.
