I tried the LG Mobile Tool but it said that I was up to date with ZVD. How can I update a device that is not activated?

Do you think if i do the unbrick method on my girls phone back to zvd...that she will get the ics update notification again? Or will she be pushed back ti the end of the line+

you need a file explorer from the market. I would download a app called file expert and it free. once you do that we can help more

Try checking out the size of the update...if its 225 mb..its not zvi..i also got the update from the mobile tool..only to find out it was jus zvd

Im gunna try rolling my girls phone back to zvd in about an hour...and see if she gets the ics update again so i can pull it..nigel said it would work...not getting my hopes up..we shall see...can't wait to get home, man lol

Lol, it will work. That's just like installing a custom rom, and returning to an older version of android ZVC as an example , and your update will be waiting for you in like 15 minutes (depending on your data speed)
