Did a 'restart', and everything back! yeah! not sure if that was coincidence or solution.
No crashes but everything seems laggy, especially when viewing websites. Sections of pages are blurry and take a few seconds to render. HTC forums were down earlier, trying to find other problems people are having similar to mine.
Same issue!I did a manual software update last night. Sprint denies that the update was even available then told me my HTC eco design wasn't even getting ics. I told him I assured him that I had just updated and I was just calling about the lag and blurry websites (though they did eventually adjust). Then like I mentioned a senior technician tried to say maybe it was just an update to honeycomb. After I repeated I was using my phone and not a tablet he just told me I must have been mistaken, ics wasn't yet available. A total waste of 30 minutes on the phone.
You guys unfortunately when doing a major update like this you typically will have to do a factory reset (that is if your stock unrooted with stock recovery) sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Did a factory reset (pain in the neck) & it helped a ton! However rendering is still waaay slow!
Update: tried the force gpu rendering setting in the developer settings & it seems to have sped up the interface quite a bit! Not entirely sure what this does & have found that some applications won't work with this setting but, so far so good!
