ics update sim card issues

updated to build 3.11.605.22 leaked version for rezound went smooth but now it does not read sim card.. Can not get any network service. Any ideas?

Why are you on an old leak? 3.14.605.5 is the newest leak

No you dont pull sim before or after ics leak install. But if you have an issue with the network afterwards sometimes doing a sim pull helps. If you do end up pulling it, leave sim out for 2 minutes before reinstalling it.

Did you remember to flash the ruu twice? If you've done that already, what firmware, baseband & kernel are you running?

You meant the 3.14.605.5 leak didn't you? And humpagardengnome is correct about flashing it twice.

For the life of me, I have no idea why that fact is never listed for these leaks @ the link/host sites in the steps to flash it. I think he downloaded candidate #1 for some reason?

Flash the leak twice. After your phoniness boots back up shut the phone off and boot back in to hboot and let it flash again. There will most likely be issues if you don't. The leak is called ruu.

Ruu = rom update utility.

Do a sim pull for atleast 2 min. Wipe the sim off and make sure you put it back in right. When you power phone on just let it sit for awhile. If it doesn't work I would run down to your local Vzw store and ask for a new sim. You could also try a factory reset to see if that works.

Also in settings, go to power and uncheck fastboot. Causes problems

Called verizon my sim card activation was waiting they pushed it through good to go
