ICS Very Laggy

Pretty discouraging- it is very laggy. Do a factory reset now to see if that makes it any better. Other experiences?

using the UK version as of right now, still debating if I should reset in hopes of downloading the US version. I probably wont, unless there are significant differences.

My experience has been really great. I love all of the additions, and how everything seems smoother and cleaner. also, this may just be me, but everything seems to POP more, maybe just the way icons are spaced out, idk. everything just looks nicer.

also the resizable widgets, ability to use the chrome browser, swiping to get rid of notifications, all pluses. I also really like the swipe to unlock anywhere on the screen, so cool

I flashed the UK version, flashed back to HC, did the US version today via Kies.
ICS runs like a rocket here.

Did you flash back by doing a factory reset? or by actually flashing the honeycomb image onto the device by using ODIN?

if the latter, did that remove your apps? and do you have a link to download the Honeycomb image?

I flashed back to 3.2 using Odin. I did a reset first, which of course wiped my apps.
When I flashed to ICS with Odin, it went perfectly.
When I flashed back to 3.2, the tab hung on the glowing Samsung logo.
Booted to recovery, did the wipe/reset, and all was well.
I d/l the file from Sammobile's site.
They have three files listed for the US wifi only tablet. I used the one dated December.

did you restart the tablet after install? ii found it was la ggy until ii did aa restart

I've got the UK version and there's no lag whatsoever.

Same things happen with the ICS updated to the ET4G. Some people got a good clean install the first time and others.... well others got a lot of headaches. And after reading thread after thread on this issue or that issue, most seem to be solved with a clean install. I.E... A complete wipe and factory reset from stock EL29.

So maybe that will hold true to the GT10.1 as well.

No issues with mine. Perfect with ICS. It was fine before too
