Yes I think it will. The Photon is fairly new still and certainly has the hardware to run Ice Cream Sandwich. So I expect to see it make it's way on to the Photon.

Also don't forget Google's acquisition of Motorola. I bet Motorola gets it as soon if not sooner than most other manufacturers.

That's what google wants you to think. It's to much of an investment for google not to use their hardware. Don't be surprised if Motorola gets dibs on the next Nexus.. Or two

Same here. I remember getting the OG EVO and thinking it was the greatest thing in the world. But there's just something about the photon that I love. Whether it's the different form factor from the usual slate phones, or the awesome tegra 2 processor, I can't decide. Oh and the fact that Motorola antennas are by far the best make a huge difference.

I'm all for updates and support but I still have no idea why ICS is better. Is there any particular reason to be excited? From what I understand this is just merging tablet and phone API's, I'm not sure we'll see much difference until Jelly Bean.

Yep there's no flashing underneath the four roll buttons like the evos do. on my old evlo if I turned the phone a little bit and look at the home buttons looking at the phone from the top you could see the lights of all buttons. but not on this phone this is top quality!
