Hi mates.

My teenager daughter sent me a print screen with her destination when waiting an Uber, So I saw a different icon on her notification toolbar.
I'm not that kind of being hard with her privacy but I got really curious about that purple icon, someone use or know what app is?

Thanks a lot.

The simplest way to just swipe your finger from the bottom upwards, and that will reveal the installed apps, along with their text names.

Or open up the Settings menu, then open up the Apps menu, and then look for the listing of her installed apps. The app corresponding to that purple icon. Just keep in mind it might not be exactly the same but will be very, very similar. Icons are identifiers, and some times a full sized image of an app might not scale down quite the same with those smaller notification icons.

Another way is to open up the Play Store app, tap on her user I.D. photo pic in the upper right menu bar, then the Manage apps & device link show the listing of all the recently updated apps, and their names.

Or maybe that's not what you're inquiring about at all. I may be mistakenly assuming this is about identifying an app but re-reading your posting is this just a matter where you're wondering what that icon is from just your point of view? In that case, why can't you just ask your daughter?
App icons are often unique and created individually so unless it's a significantly popular app (i.e. the Instagram app) it can be a real chore determining what an app icon represents. There are hundreds of thousands plus of app icons so hopefully you'll get lucky and someone who also has that app installed on their device will chime in and name it. Otherwise, just looking at a low-res screen cap scaled down even more in your posting is going to be a real hit or miss matter.
