Is it possible to get the shutter sound off my camera it was easy to take off on my old EVO 4G but I have not a clue how to do it on this thing and I've had it for a week. Also any ideas or articles pointing towards when we'll get ICS? thanks

Do a search for "shutter sound" in this forum, there are quite a few threads on it.

As far as when we are getting ICS? Who knows...not unit next year, that's for sure. I have read somewhere that the chipset in our phone is not optimized for ICS since TI (Texas Instruments) was used as the development chipset for ICS. So it will take a while for each of the other manufacturers to adapt it. It will be interesting to see how each one, especially HTC will handle ICS. If they will still use their custom UI or just leave it a Google experience.

We'll find out...eventually.

I see. . . all of the solutions I've read involve rooting the phone(which I am not planning on doing since I'm not that savy) or downloading some crap 3rd party app
