Idol 3 file manager isnt registering SD card

[AC Question]

I have put in a 16GB SD card into my idol 3 but it isnt registering for me to move my files to in the file manager app. Have also been through the apps area in the settings and i am also unable to move apps this way.
What am i doing wrong/what can i do to fix this?
