If a better phone gets announced at Google I/O will anybody cancel their preorders?

It's possible the Motorola X Phone or a Nexus 5 gets announced. Would that make any of you cancel your preorders. I think whatever it is that gets announced would have to be really incredible and a huge upgrade over the GS4 for me to wait until July or August for something different...

I am not due for an upgrade, nor do I have a preorder. That said, if I did, I wouldn't cancel. Announced phones and release dates are two different things. A couple months went by before the HTC Once and S4 were released.

I agree. I don't want to wait until August to upgrade either unless something truly amazing gets announced.

I dont see a Nexus coming to Verizon in the future unless the lepoard changes his spots.

OK I'll actually answer the question. IF they announced a new phone that would come to Verizon and it looked better than the S4, YES I would wait. Assuming the wait wasn't too crazy long.

If they do announce a phone there is no way it would be for Verizon. More than likely Tmobile and/or AT&T. I would be shocked if anything was announced for Verizon. And to answer the question if a verizon phone was announced with the same or similar specs to the S4 and stock android then yes I would cancel my preorder.

I am a newbie, but from the way I see it, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has set the bar super high. IMO, the bar has been set so high, that planned releases of other phones will be delayed and postponed. IMO again, they will do that because they wouldn't dare release something lessor than the S4..

Just my opinion,
