If Bixby is AI we have nothing to fear.

AC Question

Has anyone actually found a use for this absurd feature? "Hello Bixby" actually translated once as hello big sea. AI, really? I'd like to find it useful but its way slower than pushing a widget.

We all get errors when using the various virtual assistants. Wonderful tech, but 'tis but early days yet.

Still waiting for Bixby Voice here in the UK but I'm hoping it will fill in the gaps and do the things I wanted Google Assistant to but can't (or won't)

Yes, AI is really in its infancy at this time...
Unless the military have it and are not telling...

Saw a web report last week about AI machines turned off because they had developed their own language and communicating with each other using it. Was one they could process faster than the language programmers had provided.

AI at this point has a new name as it's not considered AI. I just can't think of the name it's called, will have to search for it. Basically when something becomes AI will would require the same learning capacity that a person has without the assistance of a computer programmer. Just as we tell our children at birth, this an Apple, they still have to put two and two together for most other things, AI as it stands doesn't do this, hence I say again it's not AI.
