Should I even consider getting a pixel fold?

I have a pixel 8 pro and and iPhone 15 pro max. I use my iPhone way way more than the pixel. The pixel kinda of feels boring and if I want a boring phone. That's what apple excels at lol.

I did pre order the fold 6 but I have my reservations because of a horrible time consuming stressful situation with Samsung customer service at the beginning of the year.

Is there anything with the software experience that really sets the pixel fold apart from just being a bigger pixel lol. I had the Samsung fold 5 (sold it after dealing with Samsung). It has all the bells and whistles for a folding device. Curious as to where the pixel fold falls inline with that.

If you have the pixel 8 pro then No , I love the size and build of the pixel Fold but it doesn't have anywhere near the customization as Samsung Fold .

I guess I really don't know what I'm missing in the INTERESTING aspects of the Samsung's. I've had the Samsung watch and a few tablets but never a phone. And maybe what they say about "not knowing what you are missing" is a good thing. I like the Pixel Fold's size and shape (not its thickness or weight).

Late to this; but that's one thing that still really puts me off the Z Fold 6 - the style/tallness/slimness compared to the Pixel Fold

That suits my slab like hands much better and more so as it's my eReader (Pocketmags/Kindle etc) in the evenings as well as my main Youtube watching device, when not on my Mac or watching Apple TV etc

I love my 15PM and won't be without it (mainly as I've an AWU2); but I like the Fold, like the 15PM, as the front screen is the right width for my tastes

I had the Z Fold 4 once; lasted all of 2 weeks and sold it on, went back to the 13PM - hated how the front screen felt cut off, keyboard was laughable small and no good for my fat thumbs, even with Swiftkey installed etc...

I finished my Kindle Book halfway through the flight from LA back to Seattle today. I thought I would download another book but could not get their wifi working. But they offered a movie for free. So I opened the Pixel Fold and watched the movie most contentedly. I want new Pixel Folds in the same dimensions or they will probably lose me.
