If I reset a phone that had retail mode before, will it have retail mode again?

My current phone just broke itself with an update, so I had to get a new one... Thankfully, I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 lying around, so I started using that and I wanted to reset it, but then I remembered that the phone was on retail mode before and I have absolutely no clue how my mother (the person that used it before) removed it, so I am skeptical to reset it, because I am not sure if it will go back to retail mode

I know I didn't provide any info, but if anyone can help I would appreciate that

Resetting removes any installed apps, but doesn't remove apps that came with the phone. So if the retail mode app was installed, back it up first (Apk Extractor will do that).
