The eSIM itself doesn't get deleted, that's right (just like removing a physical SIM card doesn't destroy the card itself). However, doing a factory reset, effectively unlinks said eSIM from the network (which is what I assume the OP was asking).

so how do i link it back again?

initially they phone company will send me something for the phone to scan.
will that paper work later?

Depends on the carrier. Being an eSIM, they'd have to either re-activate it or you'll have the option to transfer the eSIM from a previous device.
