If the function is a slider, is that a deal breaker?

I haven't used the OG keyboard because it wasn't great. It was a nice option though and came in handy. I always leave my mind open until the phone is in hand. I think you will find both options and can choose if you aren't locked into a contract. Can't wait to see this phone, should make many happy

indeed, this gives me hope.

I'd get the GSII slider over the warmed over epic with LTE even if the Function Slider didn't come with LTE. It's that powerful plus I'm content with 3G and the advantages in battery life it provides.

I'd prefer it not have a keyboard, as I wouldn't use it and don't want more moving parts and liquid vulnerabilities. But it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, and I don't care how thin or thick a phone is.

To me if function is a slider it is absolutely a deal breaker and I will not hesitate to go to the sprint version.

It is for me personally. But I may change my mind if its a 5 row QWERTY comparable to Droid 3 then maybe...

Just to update everyone, BGR just reported that the leaked pictures of the AT&T slider is not actually the SGSII, but some other phone that will be coming to the carrier from Sammy.

But it looks completely different it isnt rounded like the epic was and the benchmarks show it much higher than the epic so I think maybe it is another high end variant sort of like the gs2?

An updated form factor doesn't really mean anything. As far as the benchmarks, I'd hope they wouldn't use a processor almost a year old now. How about we call it a Charge with a keyboard. Where are the benchmarks anyway?
