At what price point would you buy the GG?? For me I think $200 is a fair number. If there was a sale of some kind either through Samsung, Amazon, or some other outlet at a $200 price point I would snag one with a quickness.

I would buy one at $299. That's what I paid for mine. :)

So you're one of the guys that got it for $209??

Nope. Got mine for exactly $200. And I paid about $23 for the best buy insurance plan.

Oh so you used a Best Buy gift card(s) to get it then?? Because if not then I wanna walk into Best Buy and demand they give me the Gear for $200. That would be awesome.

$150 - $200 is a fair price for this great accessory.

I too was holding out for a lower price or deal for the Gear then it came.....FREE!
Well, it was a gift from my niece that works for AT&T that gave me hers..whao!

Using a best buy gift card has NOTHING to do with it at all. Its all about finding the right deals and who you know. ;)

It's not a phone accessory. It's a watch that can pair with your phone. That's how you have to look at it. It's an extremely reasonable price for a watch. As someone with a $3000 watch that just tells time... It's amazing to get a watch for $300 that does everything the Gear does, as well as the Gear does it. I've used the Sony smartwatch, I own the Pebble Smartwatch, and I've owned the Movado touchscreen watch. The Gear is better than all of them. It's worth every penny of its price.

And that is exactly what i tell customers whenever they shriek at the price of the GG!

PS. I never knew Movado made a digital watch?!

Ok well with all these posts from people who like I guess I'll pull the trigger at $250. Black Friday should be able to drop the price by $50. Or maybe Cyber Monday.

The gear isnt gonna go down on black friday/cyber monday

$199.99 would be the ideal price for me to pull the trigger, and buy it.

Same here. But probably won't see that price soon, until Samsung realizes that they aren't selling very many Gears. Then it'll drop.

Samsung delivered 800K+ units with the Note 3 being the only phone in the beginning, then the SGS4 shortly after to support it. Now with the Note 2, and SGS3 supporting the Gear, those numbers will improve. The price will eventually come done, but only Sammy knows when that day will be...

Hate to burst to your bubble buddy but Samsung shipped 800,000 units, but have only sold around 50,000 units. Which is quite low for all the advertising they're doing. Along with the 30% return rate at Best Buy stores, I would say sales aren't doing too well. Mainly because of the price and functionality.
