Try reversing your plug in the wall outlet.
After doing some research, I found a thread in the Note 4 forum that had a few suggestions. I didn't think it could possibly work but it did. Samsung didn't make a plug with one prong being "fat". This allows you to plug it in either way. I switched the plug around so that the usb is coming out of the left side of the charger. Now when I plug my phone in, it gives me a message about fast charging on the edge panel and a little lightning bolt appears in the notification bar at top.
Figured I would post it here in case I'm not the only one who wasn't aware of this.
