If you dont have overheating issues please read!!!

Yea a device like the G3 should not have these issues and I hope the new phone they are sending me does not have issues.

My G3 seems to be running longer without the sd card but has still rebooted twice due to overheating.
Seriously almost 200F.

In the future no matter what phone you use if you have what looks like an unsolvable problem it is prudent to reset. This goes for any phone including iPhones. By the way my 128gb card came in. Strangely it was having problems getting files downloaded until I noticed my computer was low on memory. An important point here is those files that did download were corrupt and caused issues till I freed memory on my computer.

Its a pretty flat line for me

That SanDisk 128gb card did not work out to be as dependable as the 64gb version as far as playing VLC movies so I'm sticking with the 64GB version. I've tried and tried to move a VLC movie onto the 128gb version and it would not accept it, then I had to scan the card for errors to get it to function.

Any battery heating up to 140F is a bad battery just so you know.

Indeed, throw your phone in freezer to make cool it down or download cm clean master and should solves your further issues

Odd that support didn't ask you to perform a reset. On androids that works magic for many issues.

Yea she was understanding my issue and didn't ask many questions other than asking my to download remote help but she didn't succeed with any of that since all she got was a blank screen.
Yea I have factory reset LG phones and it doesn't fix the issue. Hardware problem not software.

My 128 card was a cheap one and I had no problems adding files to it and my G3 saw all files.
I believe its the phone and not the card since my phone still gets hot and reboots even after removing the sd.

LMAO @ the freezer. Wouldn't that mean the phone is a lemon if you had to do that?
No app can fix these overheat problems, its the hardware not software.

I've continued to experiment with the 128GB SD and found that when installed into my laptop, transferring files from the 64GB card installed in the G3, there is a message that the G3 CPU is overheating. Now these files being transferred are smaller than the 4 and 5GB VLC movie files. I figure the only way to get these files onto the 128 GB card is not to transfer them with the card in the phone but by another way, as the CPU apparently can't handle the large VLC files. So perhaps the fault lies not in the card but in the CPU of the phone. We'll see. More later.

Am using a 2GB that i found down the back of the sofa when i moved into my house (i dont believe in buying memory when most cloud services give up to 15GB for free).

No overheating problems apart from when i powered on for the first time (was a hot day).

I transferred my contents to the sd card from the computer to the card itself.
Not to the phone with the card inside.

I also believe that the problem is with the phones hardware and not the sd card.
