I'm a former Pre owner myself, and I think the size is fine for the front pocket.

If it were as big as a pixi, that would be awesome in sheer size alone. However, I gladly accept the tradeoff of the larger form factor for the bigger functional screen.

Use this phone for a week and then look at an iPhone, you'll see that the size of the Evo is perfect and the iPhone screen is painfully small.

My wife is 5 foot nothing, has tiny hands, and loves this phone. Women carry purses, so size shouldn't be an issue at all for them when it comes to carrying the phone around.

Using it, the only problem I can see is not being able to just use one hand...but that's just personal preference. I really don't know that this phone is any harder to use with one hand than an iPhone is. If anything, the only annoying thing is I accidently hit the Search capacitive button a lot when I use one hand.
