if you had the HTC one m8 GPE would pass on this?

I really like this phone but the nexus is so damn tempting.. I guess it all depends on the battery life for me.

I for one always wanted a Nexus with a larger screen so no I would not pass it up if I own the GPE of the M8. I always felt the screen of the Nexus 5 was too small & cramped, especially with the onscreen buttons

It depends. I don't upgrade often, so I probably wouldn't. That said, I'd much rather have a Nexus 6.
