If you paid full price ($529.99)... Did u mail away for the $100 rebate?

I paid full price $530 for my phone and didn't see anything about the mail in rebate being eligible for my phone. Anyways. I mailed out the rebate form last week and today to my surprise got a envelope from Verizon saying important information about your mail in rebate. So at first I dropped a few curse words thinking they denied me. I then felt the envelope a little bit and felt something hard inside, so I opened it up and BAM my $100 rebate card was inside.

So any of you who bought your phone full price, send in your receipt + barcode and rebate form. I got the form online though the rebate center. I ordered the phone through Verizon directly online. So my question is was this a mistake? I could of sworn only those who did a 1 or 2 year contract could get the rebate, but I got my phone for full price.

This makes me happy actually. I sold my droid for $275 and this basically gives me another $100 towards that $530!

Where did you get the rebate form? Could someone please point me to it? I can't find it at the Verizon Wireless Rebate Center.

The Presubmission process didn't give me the actual rebate form, btw.

fill out the form and at the end you print off the materials to send in.

For anyone having the same problem as me, The presubmission process randomly decided to boot me back to the main VZW Rebate Center without any kind of confirmation, timeout notice, or anything. This happened two times for some reason. After the third time I went through the process it actually took me to the final step along with a confirmation number and printable rebate page.

The UPC number is on the box your phone came in. It is the Proof of Purchase it is under the first bar code it is 12 digits x xxxxx xxxxx x
